The power to define our neighborhood
Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, I'm possible.

The Power of We
Often we are told that we have no power as average citizens. However, when we come together with our neighbors to work on important issues affecting the quality of life for our families and our community, anything is possible.
Community Awards
As a result of an active neighborhood association, committed residents and volunteers, Druid Hills has been recognized as a example of what is possible.

When one thinks of a "neighborhood", one must first examine
the meaning of the word. A neighborhood is best defined by its people and their connection to each other. Neighbors are not merely passing acquaintances; they are a diverse mix of individuals who share a common set of values and beliefs.
The Druid Hills Neighborhood Association, through various initiatives
and grass-root efforts, has both encouraged and re-developed that sense of connectiveness: Neighbors talk to and with each other; neighbors empathize with and provide support for those in need. More importantly, however, the Druid Hills Neighborhood Association has re-defined the meaning of neighborhood - it not only encompasses neighbors' connection to each other, it now includes a connection to the community as a whole.
